learn to journalI’m Orsolya Hernold, Orsi (pronounced Or-she) for short. I live in Budapest, Hungary with my partner, Zoli, and our two children (7 and 9). I work as a coach and trainer. I realized a couple of weeks ago that I have been writing about myself for more than 20 years. I started with diarising a journey, then I was fortunate enough to have mentors who guided me through powerful writing lessons.

I’ve looked over the pile of notebooks I’ve gathered over the years and I would like to share experiences and insights I’ve gained through writing. I have written welcoming words to my newborn children, analysed conflicts in my relationships, looked at the purpose of my life–the list is quite extensive.

Journaling has enabled me to lead a more conscious life. Writing about myself helped me develop in every aspect of my life: at home and at work, in my relationships, as a mother, a partner, a friend, a daughter and a colleague. I would like to share with you this journey of personal growth, self-improvement, and growing consciousness, and inspire you to learn and master the wonderful skill of journaling. I will support you in doing this by offering a multitude of topics, questions, courses and journals.

How about experiencing it for yourself?

Here are some suggestions where to start:

There is no good or bad way to journal, it is your experience and your learning. It is about you, the unique person with your unrepeatable life.

I would love to hear from you! Your comments and suggestions are welcome, so please feel free to let me know what worked for you and what did not. I would like this site to be a growing base of knowledge and experiences through journaling.
